PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project is to redesign a hostel of Palazzo Zorzi located in Venice, Italy. Starting with researching the history, natural environment, vemacular architecture, local craftments and local sustainablity, all group members have developed series of models and diagrams based on five programs: Live, rest, bathe, educate, and dine. By using the concept of framing, we combined all of the study models and diagrams together, and applied lighting and different materials by using the local material. The site is connected to the river, and the water is also floated inside the hostel to provide the connection of interior and exterior.
